BUG A BUG SOUTH AFRICA
The idea behind the BUG A BUG Mosquito Band started some 20 years ago in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, when we really became aware of the significance that malaria had as a disease in Africa, and for that matter the rest of the world.
The BUG A BUG Mosquito Band was developed in a laboratory. Various tests were done in conditions mirroring everyday life where mosquitos would either irritate or bite their prey.
Following this success, the mosquito band was produced and marketed proudly as a South African product because of the actual unique recipe of the contents found within the mosquito band.
BUG A BUG Mosquito Bands were primarily distributed in the coastal regions of South Africa and slightly beyond the borders in the early and formative years of the company.
In 2020 the move was taken to launch the mosquito bands nationally in South Africa and far beyond her borders, with the intent of taking the brand and product internationally.
No animals were used in testing the product.
